pumptheory has delivered very large enterprise projects for telecommunications companies, fund managers, manufacturing companies, you name it! pumptheory can deliver a project from beginning to end, provide project management and coaching for your own staff or provide extra resources for your existing project.

pumptheory’s team specialises in complex, high volume backends with web services and user interfaces on the front end. With a reputation for performance tuning and scalability, pumptheory’s customers keep coming back. With recommendations like these it’s not hard to see why.

LinkedIn recommendations for Mark Aufflick at pumptheory:

“I had Mark fly in from Australia to Denmark to work with me, and I have to say it was well worth it. Mark is motivated and bright, and he quickly became essential, not just in software development, but also in project management, contract negtiation, and just plain having fun. Above all, Mark is one of the most dependable persons I know.” July 5, 2005
Lars Pind

“Mark is one of the best developers I’ve worked with and never ceases to amaze me with the breadth of his knowledge. His knowledge and enthusiasm for DB optimisation has had a positive tangible impact on some significant projects for Optus. He has also helped to drive the ongoing development of a core part of our mission critical provisioning system.” June 22, 2005

At pumptheory we love software so much we talk about it in our spare time and give it away for free!

pumptheory is with pumptheory’s Mark Aufflick heavily involved in the Australian iPhone and Macintosh development community and is the main organiser of CocoaHeads and NSCoder’s Sydney chapters where he has also been known to give the occasional presentation. Mark provides various pieces of opensource code to the Cocoa community, such as Net::APNS – a Perl module which manages communication with the Apple Push Notification Service.

Mark is also strongly involved in the global Perl community, developing and maintaining a number of CPAN modules and being a frequent contributor to Perlmonks.org.

In recent times Mark was a significant contributor to the OpenACS web framework community. OpenACS remains one of the richest online community frameworks available – opensource or commercial.

You can see some other opensource and community contributions by Mark on his personal website at http://mark.aufflick.com/software/.
